The core business of Meghna Group is its involvement in the bicycle industry. It is the largest bicycle manufacturer and exporter in Bangladesh. In addition, Meghna Group consists of 12 interrelated facilities of producing a large number of bicycle components as backward linkage for producing their complete bicycles.

Founded
12 January 1965
Dr. Al hajj Abdul Khalek Bhuiyan put his first step in the manufacturing industry by setting up a bicycle spoke manufacturing company in 1974 named Meghna Cycle Industries Ltd, producing bicycle spokes, mudguards and frames, with total 12 employees, and a 7,000 sq ft factory.

Uniglory Cycle Industries Ltd. as well as one of our older units named Meghna Bangladesh Ltd & Transworld Bicycle Company Ltd, holds gold and silver National Export trophies numerous time, which are regarded as the highest recognition for export business performance of the country. This recognition was made by assessing all these companies’ export performances in quality, value addition, entrance to new export destination, new design and maintenance in compliance, and quality products. Furthermore, Uniglory Cycle Industries Ltd. has also been awarded Export Excellence Award by HSBC Bank / The Daily Star for its export performance.
